Executive Rebrand No. 47-TH

Thuper Intelligence (TI) It’s not AI. It’s TI.

Introducing Thuper Intelligence: the exact same technology, now with a stronger name and a lot more flag.

Pronounced “tee-eye.” Not “ess-eye.” Never “ay-eye.” Do not ask why the S sounds like that.

Memorandum · Findings of the Naming Task Force

Six reasons to stop saying “AI” immediately

The Task Force met for nearly forty-five minutes, including lunch. These are its findings, numbered in the order they were shouted.

1

“Artificial” is a foreign-sounding word

It has five syllables and sounds like it came from Europe. Nothing about American intelligence is artificial, except the parts that are.Source: a feeling the Task Force had.

2

T comes after S

Super Intelligence was the first rebrand. Thuper Intelligence is alphabetically one letter later, which makes it newer, which makes it better. That is how progress works.Next year: Uper Intelligence (UI). Already trademarked.

3

Same number of letters, more confidence

AI has two letters. TI has two letters. But TI says them louder. Independent tests show TI is said 31% more loudly in boardrooms.Test conducted in one boardroom, by its owner.

4

It already works on calculators

Millions of Americans already own a TI. It is graphing. It has been in your desk drawer since 2004. Thuper Intelligence was here all along, waiting.Any resemblance to a Texas company is a sign of destiny.

5

The “th” sound saves air

Saying “Thuper” releases less breath than “Super.” If every citizen switches, we can store the surplus in the Strategic Air Reserve for windy days.Reserve location: classified (a balloon).

6

Confusion is a feature

When nobody knows whether you mean AI, SI or TI, nobody can say you are wrong. That is called strategic ambiguity, and it is how great powers stay great. Please direct all questions to Finding 6.

Doctrine

The Five Pillars of Thuper Intelligence

Like the Founders, we believe a good idea needs pillars. We had marble left over, so there are five.

Pillar I · Capitalism

Rebranding is free money

  • Renaming a product changes nothing about it and triples its valuation. Economists call this “value creation.” Other economists are not invited.
  • Every slide that says “TI” instead of “AI” is legally a new invention.
  • TI is denominated in US dollars. AI was denominated in vibes.
Pillar II · Getting Rich

TI startups raise 340% more

  • That figure comes from the startups. They asked us to round up.
  • Simply say “Thuper” in a pitch meeting. Investors will assume you know something they don’t.
  • Early adopters receive a commemorative coin, which is also a crypto token, which is also the coin.
Pillar III · Masculinity

A name you say through your teeth

  • The “th” sound requires the tongue between the teeth, the same position used to bite a steak, a bullet, or another steak.
  • AI ends with a vowel. TI also ends with a vowel. A subcommittee is looking into it.
  • TI does not ask for directions. It hallucinates them with conviction.
Pillar IV · Military

Thuperiority on every front

  • New defense programs include the Thuper Hornet, the Thtealth Bomber and the Thpace Force.
  • Adversaries cannot copy TI, because their translators keep correcting it to “SI.”
  • Every aircraft carrier now ships with one TI and one bald eagle, for redundancy.
Pillar V · Power

Unlimited power, literally

  • TI runs on coal, freedom and the energy released when someone says “well, actually.”
  • A single TI data center uses as much electricity as Delaware, which Delaware has agreed to stop using.
  • Whoever controls the letter T controls the alphabet from T onward.
Bonus Pillar · Tradition

It sounds like a grandpa saying it

  • “Thuper” is how your grandfather pronounced it after his dentures came out, and he stormed a beach.
  • Respect your elders. Say it how they say it.
  • We counted again. There are six pillars. That is more pillars, which is better.

Implementation roadmap

The road to full Thuperiority

Q4

Rename AI to SI

Print new letterhead. Hold a ceremony. Tell no engineers.

Q4, later that day

Rename SI to TI

Print newer letterhead. The old letterhead becomes a collectible.

Q1

Hearings

Congress asks why nobody knows what anything is called. TI is asked to summarize the hearings. It does, confidently.

Q2

Launch “AI Classic”

Bring back the original name in a retro can. Charge twice as much. Call it a comeback.

Citizen testimonials

Real Americans. Probably.

“I didn’t understand AI. I don’t understand TI either, but now I don’t understand it in a way that feels American.”

Gary, 54, owns three boats

“We changed one letter on our pitch deck and closed a $40 million round. We still haven’t built the product. We don’t have to.”

Founder, ThuperStack (Series B)

“My son asked me what Thuper Intelligence was. I told him to stand up straight.”

Will my AI tools stop working?

Your tools will keep working exactly as before. Only the stickers change. Stickers are available at your nearest federal building, between 10:00 and 10:15 a.m.

How do I explain TI to my team?

Say it slowly, then louder. If anyone asks a follow-up question, refer them to Finding 6.

Civic duty

Take the Thuper Pledge

“I pledge allegiance to the acronym, of the Department of Thuper Intelligence, and to the rebrand for which it stands: one name, under review, indistinguishable, with confusion and branding for all.”

318,500,000 Americans have pledged, according to an estimate we made up.
